Stationery
Troubleshooting:
- If the previous
installation instructions do not work correctly, you can install the
files to the correct place on your system manually. Click
here
- If someone receiving
your emails does not see the eStationery or when they reply their
typing writes over your stationery. Click here
- If when you install
the new eStationery it 'tiles' across the whole page repeatedly. Click
here
- If you are running
Win 98, The path to save the Stationery is C\windows\application data\microsoft\stationery
MANUAL INSTALLATION:
NB: If when you
use the method detailed previously you get a blank email with no stationery,
you will simply need to put the files in the folder Microsoft uses,
manually as explained below.
Also make sure you
have set you default mail setting to HTML as directed previously in
Step 1.
Saving the Stationery;
With this email you have received 2 or more attachments. There will
be one .htm document and 1 or more images.
- Double click
on this email to open it fully.
- Go to the File
menu and select Save Attachments.
- Browse your computer
to select your C drive.
- Continue to browse
to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery.
- Now click on
Save to save the attachments into this folder.
- OK and
you are done. Now refer to the previous instructions to use the stationery.

CHECK MESSAGE
FORMAT & SETTINGS:
- On the Tools
menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
- In the Compose
message in this format box, click HTML.
- Please make
sure that Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages is not
checked
- Click Ok.
